The crew of the USCSS Lake are woken as they enter orbit at Fiorina 161. They have a narrow window to complete thier contract with Eigen Disposals Inc. to survey of the mothballed Weyland-Yutani mineral processing plant and former correctional facility on a planet soe call 'Fury'. The Captain and Science Officer clearly share a secret while the EDI Rep appears to have connections to The Company. While the Chief Engineer undertakes some repairs on the Lake the others start the survey. There's signs of a firefight, a discarded pulse rifle and a furnace that was not shut down properly. Then, back on the ship they, pick up a mysterious broadcast which Thorn the XO (and former Marine) and Yasmin the Tech (and former Criminal) investigate while Frank the Navigator (and former Labourer) keeps an eye on them. Thorn takes cover and Yasmin finds more than she'd expected to while, then Frank hears gubnfire and a shout for help. Happily it's not as bad as anyone expected until ... Yasmin gets stomach ache ...
