Lieutenant Knack leads their marine squad back to base when the threat of a UPP attack prompts an evacuation order. Pvt. Nyx 'Cargo' Compton is all about the job until they get stuck babysitting the corporate rep travelling with the squad; Pvt Zeera Quinn is itching for action and 'Mick', the squad's Medic, is more concerned with what might go wrong.
There's a broken down civilian truck and a medical emergency; an ambush and a rocket propelled grenade; and a pair of marines in need of help. Then, the squad takes shelter in an abandoned gas station, tensions surface, and an argument between friends reveals that a rat bite has turned bad ... really bad ...
