Alun R facilitates a session in a longish series of Eotenweard, his own PbtA game-nearing-the-end-of-development of Dark Age Heroes protecting the innocent from a growing Darkness.

Encountering a group of Saxons on the road into the Kingdom of Rheged, the Heroes discover a friend of theirs is being hunted, while Cadoc, the Sword of God opens himself to the influence of Woden the Allfather. That leads to a diversion to a set of Mysterious Standing Stones where they are to 'Seek an Innocent'. There's a young woman and Cadoc's warhorse ... which is the innocent? From there their footsteps are guided to Garwlan which, despite being ruled by a Christian British Lady, has a Priest of Woden and a significant population of Saxons ... then a body drops from the claws of a monstrous raven before a one-eyed Saxon is clothed in black feathers ...
