With Octavia off-screen it is left to the other Heroes to resolve the issues at Rhunsbeck. Merryn alienates the disloyal champion; while Deryn's response to scapegoating and Wulftan's actions escalate tensions. There's a request to kill someone, a duel that ends someone, but is treating a symptom of the Darkness enough? Then, blood ... so much blood!
