Scale gets a call from his rival about the decapitation of the Dominus of the Court of Tides and attack on Spinning Ginny. He arranges for a meet up with his three companions, who eventually arrive after complications with a stolen gift panther. They discover the murder weapon they "picked up" is not the same blade they encountered earlier. Following that back leads them to a dead cultist, a sticky punk club, and a cadre of vampires waiting out in the street.
