Though their new assignment looms in their mind, our protagonists deal with their own daily lives first. A discussion about the course of their investigation has Lydia set the agenda and then immediately discard it. They begin to learn more about this other missing group of Taken, with hints at some sinister doings. Mr. Suit tries to get information, but ends up confronting his own past.
