This is a one-shot, prequel to a series of Alice is Missing & Monsterhearts 2 & taking place in between subsequent series of A Town Called Malice & Bump in the Dark.

A group of friends has decided to spend a night in the woods, camping.
They gathered around the campfire to talk about their dreams and goals. However, the chatter is interrupted by a noise from the bushes immersed in the darkness behind them.
Then, all the friends are gone, and the only one remaining is called by a feeble voice from the woods, asking them to face their fears.

You are the Protagonist: the forest has chosen you, calling your name. You must go into the darkness, only equipped with a few items, and face your fears. What awaits you is a rite of passage, a journey from which you will return changed.
