We begin a new quarterly series exploring the voyages of the Challenger-Class USS Kintsugi. In this new season we see characters new and old as the Federation enters into war with the Dominion. Finishing up a search and rescue mission, the Kintsugi is called to check on a lost scientist on a pre-warp world. But the situation is made complicated by the arrival of a Jem'Hadar attack ship.
