We meet Duke, the product of an Authoritarian regime who has turned Grifter with a Daredevil streak; Eugene, the curious Investigator with a background in Engineering who was brought up with an expectation he'd contribute to the creation of utopian society; Coyne, the cynical Scoundrel and Fixer from a Poor society who is glad to have escaped; and Linn, the Spacer Soldier with an urge to Hustle!
There's a lot of interest in the outer system of Hub and a job to find out what the RGA is doing out there. There's interest from The Syndicate; a narrowing of the search volume; and a signal ... then ... WHAT THE F*** IS THAT!
