Lt Hardacre and a scratch Colonial Marine squad, including Privates Costa and Nathan and medic Specialist Sgt. Alegre, are tasked to retrieve 4 AWOL marines before they can defect to the UPP with classified intelligence. There's an obnoxious NCO, an inexperienced ComTech Marine and a civilian Consultant representing the colony's sponsoring corporation. Then, a nightclub visit leads to an acidic exchange, and an oil refinery proves explosive, before the Squad is recalled to their base because the 'other AWOLs have surrendered themselves' ... which worries the Lieutenant enough for her to ignore her duty and order the squad to the Spaceport, instead! We may find out what happened to them next time on ... Alien Dark - Falling World ...
